How it works

AI background removal uses semantic segmentation to identify and remove the background from images and video. Unlike green screen techniques, it works with any content and does not require special filming conditions. The technology is mature for still images and increasingly reliable for video. In production workflows, background removal is used for creating product shots on white backgrounds, compositing subjects into new environments, and preparing assets for multi-layer compositions.
