What is Edge Deployment?

Running AI models on local hardware or edge devices rather than cloud servers. Enables offline use, lower latency, and data privacy.

How it works

Edge deployment runs AI models directly on user hardware rather than sending requests to cloud servers. For AI video generation, this means running the model on your own GPU. Open-source models like LTX Video and Flux Schnell can be deployed on edge hardware. Advantages include no per-generation cost (after hardware investment), complete data privacy (content never leaves your machine), no internet dependency, and lowest possible latency. Disadvantages include high initial hardware cost, limited to open-source models, and responsibility for maintenance and updates.
