What is Keyframing?

Defining specific states at specific points in time and having the system interpolate between them. In AI video, used for controlling motion and transitions.

How it works

Keyframing is a fundamental animation concept where you define the important poses or states at specific moments (keyframes) and the system generates the transitions between them. In AI video, keyframing can mean specifying a first frame and last frame and having the AI generate the motion between them, or specifying camera positions at different time points and having the AI interpolate the camera path. First-frame/last-frame workflows are particularly powerful because they give you precise control over the start and end states while letting the AI handle the creative interpolation. This produces more controllable results than purely generative approaches.
