Our verdict

Midjourney remains the best tool for artistic and stylized imagery, but the lack of an API makes it unusable in production pipelines. We use it for creative direction and mood boards during the concept phase, then switch to Flux or Recraft for final production assets that need API integration. The Discord interface is a workflow bottleneck. Until Midjourney ships an API, it will remain a concept tool rather than a production tool for us.
