How it works

AI slow motion can be achieved in two ways: generating slow-motion content directly (prompting for slow-motion movement) or converting normal-speed content to slow motion using frame interpolation. Generation-time slow motion asks the AI to generate slower movement within the same clip duration. Post-generation slow motion extends the duration by generating intermediate frames. Both approaches produce results that rival traditional high-speed camera footage for many use cases, though fast-moving subjects with complex motion can reveal interpolation artifacts.
